We are from South Carolina and were in town visiting friends when we first discovered AVA Goldworks and now every time we are back we make a point to stop in and see what’s new. What I love about AVA besides the quality, is that each piece is unique. I love the fact that it’s a family run business and that Brandy and her father work together to create jewelry that can be considered pieces of art. Brandy’s designs are so beautiful that it’s difficult for me to choose just one piece which is why the last time we visited I left with four! What my boyfriend loves is that they have pieces in all price ranges so buying multiple pieces in one visit isn’t impossible. We both love the service, after our first visit Brandy and her mom felt like old friends and we always look forward to seeing them when we are back in Hannibal. Because we live out of state I was so excited when the AVA Goldworks website went live, while I always prefer to visit the store, now I can add to my collection at any time.

Unique, one-of-a-kind designs are their specialty. The attention to detail and extraordinary craftsmanship that goes into their pieces is mind-boggling. I was never a big jewelry person, however, that quickly changed after my first visit to their beautiful shop. They are genuinely happy to show you their gorgeous works of art and take the time to get to know what it is you like. And in my case that was a very challenging thing to do!!! They designed me a new wedding ring for my 35th anniversary. This took months of me looking at different styles and debating what it was I wanted. Ultimately, Brandy came up with a beautiful design combining aspects from several different pieces. Randy expertly crafted the ring. I absolutely love it.  Needless to say this is not my only piece but it's the most cherished. I have two additional rings that I absolutely love.
The sterling silver line of specially designed necklaces, bracelets and rings are gorgeous and reasonably priced. I especially enjoy the line of "pink" breast cancer awareness jewelry Brandy has lovingly made. Ava Goldworks donates a portion of sales to support local breast cancer projects.
This father - daughter team would not be complete without the business savvy provided by Debbie. She is always so very welcoming to everyone. I immediately relinquish my rings to her for a quick cleaning and inspection each visit. It's amazing how brilliantly they shine afterwards.

There was a time I could not pass a jewelry store without going in to 'look', but since finding AVA Goldworks, there is no other jewelry store that holds my interest. I had two favorite custom design places in St. Louis that benefited from all my birthdays, anniversaries, and Christmas.  But now that I know the very special one-of-a-kind pieces made by Brandy and her father, I will not even look at another jewelry store.  Nothing at these stores compare in price and value that I get at AVA Goldworks.

I have more than 15 pieces from you and I still love them as much as the day I walked out of the store. I have some wonderful  pieces that I get compliments on every time I wear them.  I have one piece that I think twice about wearing when I go out because it attracts so much attention.  My husband says, "Here we go again" as I tell the interested person all about AVA Goldworks. Every time I am in the shop I put one or two items on my wish list.  It has taken me years to finally get one particular custom designed Rhodolite Garnet pendant and twisted neckwire, but it is mine.  I did wait too long on one pendant and matching ring, but I know they found a good home. I am particularly fond of rings and pendants and added 2 silver rings and a pair of silver earrings to my jewelry vault for my anniversary this year.

We were visiting Hannibal so my wife could attend a seminar on Samuel Clemens/Mark Twain.  I had checked out some interesting places to visit while she was busy and noticed the AVA website.  Being a bit of a jewelry enthusiast, I put them on the top of my list of places to check out while roaming Hannibal.  When I entered the store I was immediately impressed with the quality of the jewelry and the comfortable atmosphere of the shop.  I spoke with Debbie extensively, spent a while looking at all the different designs in the case, and marveled at the variety, craftsmanship, and over the top glimmer of every piece!  I was quickly drawn to a ring we now affectionately call the Twain.  With the way it shined, I thought for sure it had to have a battery in it!  It's a beautiful multi diamond ring set in peach gold.  There is a half carat diamond in the center with a quarter carat on either side.  They are surrounded by 24 smaller diamonds scrolled and woven into the face of the ring.  When my wife finished up her seminar, I took her to see the ring and meet with Debbie and Randy.  Of course she enthusiastically agreed that she should have it, and we made the purchase.  Randy immediately checked out the measurement required to fit the ring and went in back to his shop to size the ring.  She wore it out of the shop and hasn't missed a day wearing it since!  AVA is now a definite stop on our agenda when we are in the area, and we even had Randy and Brandy collaborate on a custom men's ring for me!  AVA is a one stop shop for exquisite, one of a kind wearable works of art!
