Mabé Pearls are half-pearls that are cultivated on the inside of a mollusk's shell. The mollusk is left to accumulate nacre over a period, usually two to three years. We picked this Pearl for the design because the flat back allows the Pearl to sit lower in the mounting. It really completes the design!
