We hand select the gears then add resin for a smooth finish. The red part is a jewel (usually lab-created ruby) which was used to reduce friction between two metal components that rub against one another. We just love the little pop of color! A small Lilac Glass Jewel is the perfect finishing touch. The two-tone look & shiny parts really catch the eye. This set will add a pop of color & design to any outfit.
